Afternoon sun on the drive, and you need cover for the boat or the second car before the weather turns. Twelve feet across and twenty deep, this metal frame gives you a roofed bay without the cost of brick and beam. Grey finish on the steel keeps the look quiet against siding or hedgerow.
Once the anchors are set and the sheet is tight, the space stops being bare asphalt. You stack the mower and the bikes underneath, or set up a workbench where rain will not reach it. The season passes, and the spot you paved for parking becomes usable storage, dry and open on three sides.
