These figures are from our last update, and you can see the date it ran on the updates page.
You will sit upright with your back against the 64-inch height, which leaves enough clearance above your head for most standard ceilings without the piece pressing into the room. The black upholstery reads as a solid block against the wall, so you can place it under windows or in front of open shelving without the colour competing with what is behind it.
Because it is flat pack, you carry the box through doorways and up stairs before you build it in place. When you want a new layout, you do not drag the whole sofa; you disassemble it, move the panels, and rebuild where the wall space allows.
Anything here that stands on the floor with drawers, doors or shelves belongs anchored to the wall. The consumer safety commission launched its anchoring campaign in 2015 and reported ten years later that tip-over injuries and deaths had fallen by nearly half; the instruction behind that number is the one sentence above. An anchoring kit ships in the carton, the job takes about ten minutes with a drill and a stud finder, and it is the last step of the build rather than an optional extra.
