A full 31.5 inches of height means your cat steps in without the low crouch required by shorter cabinets, and the litter stays inside even when they turn around. That extra clearance also keeps your own knee from knocking the roof when you lift the hood to scoop.
It is flat pack, so you build it where it will stand; do not try to carry the box through a narrow doorway once the panels are joined.
