Your living room or home office needs a place for books, baskets and the things you collect. At 3 tiers, this cube organizer gives you open storage that sits low enough to keep the wall above it free for art or a window. You will find the footprint modest against baseboards and vents, so the piece tucks beside a sofa or under a shelf already mounted.
It arrives flat. You carry the carton to the spot, spread the panels, and join them in the order our sheet numbers. Once the frame stands level on the floor, you fix the anchoring fittings to the wall before you load a single cube. The brown finish is the last thing you see, not the first.
Anything here that stands on the floor with drawers, doors or shelves belongs anchored to the wall. The consumer safety commission launched its anchoring campaign in 2015 and reported ten years later that tip-over injuries and deaths had fallen by nearly half; the instruction behind that number is the one sentence above. An anchoring kit ships in the carton, the job takes about ten minutes with a drill and a stud finder, and it is the last step of the build rather than an optional extra.
